Humanitarian trip to Cuba sums up Dale Strong’s love of travel, people
Being a travel agent is very much like living in a “proverbial wish-book,” says local businesswoman Dale Strong.
“You plan all of these amazing trips for people and learn about all of these amazing places that they’re going to visit,” Strong said as she sat in a swiveling desk chair on the second floor of her Aptos home, which doubles as her travel agency, Strong on Travel. “I’m always thinking, ‘I want to go there, too!’”
A little over a month ago, Strong finally had one of her longstanding travel wishes come true when she was able to visit Cuba – legally – with 39 other Americans on a humanitarian mission in late September.
