If anything, Strong said she wants to go back and to help others plan their own humanitarian trips to Cuba – trips where people can assist even more than they did the first time.

“I’d love to organize a trip for veterinarians to come over and spay and neuter the animals, which desperately need it, or dentists or doctors to come and provide care for the people,” she said. “It’s very possible to visit there and help these people legally. Flights leave L.A. and Miami to Cuba every day. People don’t probably know that.”

Strong has been helping people get from here to there and plan the perfect trip as a travel agent for the last 20 years.

“I’ve always liked helping people move around,” she said. “I’m good at mothering people – holding their hands through things. That’s why I love this so much, though. I wouldn’t think of doing anything else. I like putting things together.”

Strong said she enjoys planning any trip, whether it culinary tour through Tuscany, a scuba diving adventure in the Caribbean or just a business trip to Los Angeles. She said she even has some clients as far away as Japan.
